U.S. Shipping

Orders over $65 qualify for free standard domestic shipping via USPS Ground Advantage, which takes 5-7 days for addresses in the continental U.S., Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Guam. Expedited orders are shipped via FedEx Express or USPS Priority, depending on the delivery address and package size. Maui Rippers warehouse operating hours are 10 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Lifeguard patch requests may result in additional processing time for your order. Orders received after 2 PM PDT will be shipped the next business day.

International Shipping

We are happy to ship to almost anywhere in the world for an extra cost. Not all products are available internationally. For international orders, the delivery time is an estimation and exact delivery dates depend on your country's customs clearance timeline. Buyers assume responsibility for all international duties, taxes, and/or fees that may apply. Please note we are unable to provide return labels for international orders. For international returns, please ship your item(s) back for a refund using your own shipping label.

Exchanges

To make an exchange, please visit our Returns Center and enter your order details. You will be directed to our website where you can select the eligible item(s) you'd like to exchange for, pay for the $5 exchange fee and then follow the prompts to generate your prepaid USPS shipping label to ship back your return(s).

Please note that you can make an exchange for any new item on our website, but each item can only be exchanged once. You will receive an email notification once your exchange has shipped. Exchanges are exclusive to residents within the United States.

Returns

  • Domestic return shipping labels are $5.00. This amount will be deducted from your refund.
  • Merchandise can only be returned if purchased online directly from www.mauirippers.com
  • Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of delivery. 
  • Merchandise must be in original unused condition, free of hair & odor with hangtags attached. All boxer briefs are final sale. 
  • Items listed as final sale are not eligible for refund. 
  • Shipping charges incurred during checkout are non-refundable. 
  • We cannot generate return labels for APO/DFO/DPO or international orders.

How do I figure out my size?

We use standard US sizing, so we recommend ordering your normal pants size. To find specific measurements, please refer to our men's and women's size charts HERE.
My size is out of stock, what should I do?

If your size is currently out of stock click the size that is out of stock and then click "Notify Me When Available". Fill out the form and you will be notified when the product is back in stock! We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you your Maui Rippers soon!

How do I care for my boardshorts?

At Maui Rippers, we make boardshort care easy. Just rinse your shorts with fresh water after every use, and wash cold with like colors. Then line dry or toss them in the dryer for a few minutes. How do I make a return?

Finding your exact size is the most difficult part of shopping for apparel online. Some people like a loose fit while others prefer to keep things tight. Maui Rippers has a new way to try on our boardshorts to find your perfect size. Checkout+ is an affordable returns and exchanges program that allows our customers to get multiple sizes and return or exchange for the size (and color) that fits you best. 

We get it—sometimes the fit isn’t right, the color looks different in person, or you just change your mind. That’s why we’ve designed a customer-friendly return and exchange policy that puts your needs first.

This program is risk-free so you can try on multiple shorts and return or exchange for the size and style that works for you. Customers in the U.S. who select Checkout+ are eligible to make as many exchanges as needed to achieve their perfect fit, provided all exchanges are completed within 30 days of purchase. 

Our new Exchange Portal makes exchanging for the correct size easy. 

RETURNS

  • Drop your package off at any official postal service pickup location.
  • Once we receive your return, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. Your financial institution may require extra processing time before the funds are posted to your original payment source.

If you did not select Checkout+, then your return will go through the same Return Portal, and $5 will be deducted from your refund. If you received an incorrect or defective item, you will not be charged for return shipping.
