Finding your exact size is the hardest part of shopping for apparel online. At Maui Rippers, we want you to love how your boardshorts look and feel. That’s why we offer Checkout+ Returns & Exchanges Insurance to take the guesswork out of your order.

How Checkout+ Works

For just $2.48 at checkout, you unlock full insurance on your order:

  • Free Return Shipping: Don't love it? Send it back for a full refund with zero return shipping fees.

  • Easy Exchanges: Need a different size or style? We’ll cover your return label to send the old item back. (Note: A standard outbound shipping fee applies to your new exchange order).

Skipped Checkout+? No worries. You can still use our portal! However, a $6.00 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund, or applied to your exchange.

Our Policy

  • 30-Day Window: Items must be registered in our portal within 30 days of delivery.

  • Item Condition: Merchandise must be in original, unused condition (unwashed, free of hair/odor) with all hangtags attached.

  • Final Sale: All boxer briefs and items marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

  • Shipping: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We cannot generate return labels for international or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

💰 Refunds

Once your package is dropped off at any official USPS pickup location and received at our warehouse, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.

  • With Checkout+: 100% refund of your item's purchase price.

  • Without Checkout+: A $6.00 return label fee will be deducted from your total refund.

  • If you received a defective or incorrect item, all return fees are completely waived.

🔁 Exchanges

Want a different size, color, or style? Head to our portal to select your new gear.

  • The Exchange Process: Our portal lets you shop our live inventory to claim your new item instantly. You'll get a prepaid label to ship your original item back.

  • Outbound Shipping: To keep our prices competitive, customers cover the standard outbound shipping fee for the new exchange order at checkout.

  • Limits: Each item can be exchanged once. Exchanges are currently exclusive to U.S. residents.
