How Checkout+ Works
For just $2.48 at checkout, you unlock full insurance on your order:

Free Return Shipping: Don't love it? Send it back for a full refund with zero return shipping fees.

Easy Exchanges: Need a different size or style? We’ll cover your return label to send the old item back. (Note: A standard outbound shipping fee applies to your new exchange order).
Skipped Checkout+? No worries. You can still use our portal! However, a $6.00 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund, or applied to your exchange.

Our Policy

30-Day Window: Items must be registered in our portal within 30 days of delivery.

Item Condition: Merchandise must be in original, unused condition (unwashed, free of hair/odor) with all hangtags attached.

Final Sale: All boxer briefs and items marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Shipping: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We cannot generate return labels for international or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
💰 Refunds
Once your package is dropped off at any official USPS pickup location and received at our warehouse, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.

With Checkout+: 100% refund of your item's purchase price.

Without Checkout+: A $6.00 return label fee will be deducted from your total refund.

If you received a defective or incorrect item, all return fees are completely waived.

Want a different size, color, or style? Head to our portal to select your new gear.

The Exchange Process: Our portal lets you shop our live inventory to claim your new item instantly. You'll get a prepaid label to ship your original item back.

Outbound Shipping: To keep our prices competitive, customers cover the standard outbound shipping fee for the new exchange order at checkout.

Limits: Each item can be exchanged once. Exchanges are currently exclusive to U.S. residents.

I work for an agency and would like to make an order/bulk order. Do you provide a discount?
We partner with GovX to provide a discount to first responders/military. Please login through the GovX button above to receive your discount code.

What if I don't have a GOVX account?
If you are a first responder please send us a message to support@mauirippers.com to request a discount code. Please be sure to include some information about where you work and your title!
I'm not a Lifeguard...can I still purchase these awesome shorts?
Absolutely! These shorts are for both first responders and folks who appreciate red and navy swimwear 😉
How do I care for my lifeguard shorts?
First responders are way too busy to be overly concerned about the care of their uniform. That's why we make boardshort care super simple! Just rinse your shorts with fresh water after every use, and wash cold with like colors. Then line dry or toss them in the dryer for a few minutes. How do I make a return or exchange?
RETURNS
- Merchandise can only be returned if purchased directly from www.mauirippers.com
- Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
- Merchandise must be in original unused condition, free of hair & odor with hangtags attached. All boxer briefs are final sale.
- Shipping charges incurred during checkout are non-refundable.
- We cannot generate return labels for APO/DFO/DPO or international orders.
Exchange Process:
- Visit our our Returns Portal and enter your order details.
- You will be directed to our website where you can select the eligible items you'd like to exchange for.
- Follow the prompts to generate your shipping label to ship back your return.
Please note that you can make an exchange for any new item on our website, but each item can only be exchanged once. You will receive an email notification once your exchange has shipped. Exchanges are exclusive to residents within the United States.

If Checkout+ was not purchased, customers are responsible for shipping costs when returning for a refund or exchanging for another size or style.
