Maui Kiteboarding: Hookipa Beach Park is the spot.

When  most normal  people are working and living their normal lives the kitesurfing Maui Rippers are killing it from Hookipa 'Lanes' down to the reefs of 'Kanaha' and 'kite Beach' Maui is a sick bastion of crazy watermen dominating in all watersports. At the forefront of the worlds best professionals are an underground group of lesser known hero's. It is Our pleasure to be a part of this wild ride. Kiteboarding Maui Rippers get 30'-40'-50',60',70' air's. Just passing by Hookipa on any givin day you will see someone flying high and ripping the hell out of the poor waves.

Attached Photo: Jim Bones.  This is who you will see out there all alone or with his super hero underground friend Buck ripping mysto waves on a rainy midweek day when mere mortal beachgoers and surfers pull over on the Hana Hwy and say: HOLY MACKERAL! LOOK AT THOSE KITESURFERS!!! THEIR FREAKIN CRAZY!  (where? people say)  WAY OUT THERE 'POINTING'   SEE UM NOW? And the cowds cheer!!!!

Maui Rippers has been manufacturing board shorts in Hawaii since 2004. We are slowly growing in popularity locally as well as nationally and internationally. Our line of Lifeguard shorts and lifeguard gear has been extremely popular amongst lifeguards all over the USA and a few other countries as well, such as Lifeguards in Australia, Japan, Germany, UK, Canada, Switzerland and Italy. So lifeguard apparel is a strong credit to our reputation as suppliers of high quality surfwear and beach fashion. We dont use cheap materials in our product production. Zippers, fabric, buttons etc. are all best available quality. We are now introducing stretch fabric for out boardshort line. Men and women's board shorts will now be available in the newest and most modern microfiber and stretch material. Our new line of women's surfwear will be available in late summer and by fall of 2010 we will offer a full line of wmen and women's boardshorts, T shirts, rashguards and Hats. Of course there are plenty of surf stickers usually included free with the purchase of any surfshort or shirt. Our lifeguard board shorts are the same quality as our fashion line or boardshort line of surfwear. Our team of watermen, surfers, windsurfers, kiteboarders, standup paddlers, bodyboarders are of the highest cut of Hawaiian professionals. They can be seen surfing the big waves of 'Jaws' Peahi or Honolua Bay to Maalaea freight trains and La Perouse on Maui's south end. Makena also on Maui's south end is famous for it's thunderous big waves breaking close to shore making for the best skimboarding, bodysurfing and bodyboarding or boogy boarding anywhere in the world. Makena is so beautiful and clean. We are trying to protect this gem of a place from developement. There are seasonal skimboarding events such as the Annual Save Makena Skim Board/Body Board Contest presented by Maui Tomorrow and the Surfrider Foundation, Maui Chapter. This takes place at Makena Pu'u Olai state park-Oneloa "Big Beach". For more info on the great event contact savemakena@gmail.org .  Maui Rippers donates to many local events and charities supporting the Hawaiian local community. We feel Hawaii has allowed us to be successful in a business and lifestyle that is so healthy and spiritual, we feel blessed and fortunate to be so lucky! The Maui environment is very peaceful and friendly and we hope to keep it that way as long as possible.  A new sport has become very popular here called SUP-standup paddle or standup surf where the surfer stands on the board and paddles into waves and rips them either at the well known surf spots such as Hookipa or Lahaina or just paddling on flat water to get a good workout and enjoy the views. There are also extreme paddle races starting from Maliko bay on Maui's North shore going to Kanaha park or Kahului harbor. 9-12 miles races that require strength and endurance that surfers and watermen love and live for. Some names are Naish Maui International Paddleboard Race, Rainbow Gerry Lopez Battle of the paddle, The Surftech Jay Moriarity Memorial Paddleboard Race, Santa Monica Pier Paddleboard Race, Hennessey's Paddleboard Festival. There are so many races, surf contests, windsurfing events it would take forever to list them today! But this stuff is so good for search engines I will be back to add more.  Aloha, Mahalo, terima kasih, thanks for looking in on the progress of Maui Hawaii's fastest growing surf clothing company. Now go pickup some Hawaiian boardshorts and you will be styling like the locals.
